This summer, Identiverse® —IDPro’s ‘home’ event —went virtual, welcoming a global audience to a curated series of online presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities. The Identiverse presentations are now available on-demand, and include a range of IDPro member-presented material such as the IDPro Public Plenary, The Skills and Experiences of Identity Practitioners panel and more!
More recently, IDPro founder Ian Glazer presented at the Internet Identity Workshop (IIW) which has been finding, probing and solving identity issues since 2005. IIW serves as a forum for working on the identity systems and protocols that make the modern Web work – such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, User-Managed Access, and Fido, to name a few. If you’re interested in identity, IIW has lots of great information and presentations for on-demand viewing.
As we continue into the Fall, there are more industry events to look forward to. Following is a list of upcoming virtual events that include IDPro member presentations:
Identity North Virtual Fall Symposium
Date: October 28 – 29, 2020
IdentityNORTH Fall Symposium will consist of two days of presentations by leading identity and digital economy experts from Canada and around the world. The conversation will include diversity and inclusion, multi-jurisdictional interoperable digital ID approaches, digital healthcare, privacy, cybersecurity and governance.
Date: November 9 – 20, 2020
Authenticate is a fully virtual event, open to the public with complimentary registration. Hosted by FIDO Alliance, Authenticate is the first conference dedicated to the who, what, why and how of user authentication – with a focus on the FIDO standards-based approach.
